Chief Secretary Eknarayan Aryal has instructed all ministries and government bodies to prepare an immediate action plan to address governance-related demands raised during the recent Gen-Z movement.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, a secretary-level meeting held on Tuesday decided that each ministry must submit its draft action plan to the Governance Reform Division by Sunday. The plans are expected to include concrete measures for administrative reforms and improved governance.

The meeting also directed concerned offices to record details of damages caused to public and private property during the protests through the National Planning Commission’s official portal. The Commission will coordinate with relevant agencies to compile a complete report.

In addition, the meeting resolved to expedite the resumption of disrupted public services by initiating a special procurement process and to make government buildings available where service operations face difficulties.

Other key decisions include promoting the use of domestic products by public institutions and ensuring adequate supplies and resources to strengthen the morale and efficiency of security agencies through budget support from the Ministry of Finance.
