Supreme Court Concludes Hearings on NEA Leadership Dispute

The Supreme Court has finished hearings on the legal battle between former Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) chief Kulman Ghising and current Managing Director Hitendra Dev Shakya. The final verdict is yet to be announced.

A bench of Justices Kumar Chudal and Nityananda Pandey heard arguments for three consecutive days before concluding the case on Thursday.

Ghising had challenged his dismissal, calling it unlawful and demanding reinstatement. On his part, Shakya sought a resolution to his previous legal issues.

Since both cases are related, the court will issue a single ruling covering both.
