In the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Sudurpashchim Royals defeated Kathmandu Gurkhas by 73 runs.
In the match held on Thursday at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Sudurpashchim set a target of 168 runs. In reply, Kathmandu could only manage 94 runs, losing all their wickets in 15.5 overs.
Kathmandu's Stephen Eskinazi was the top scorer with 37 runs. He hit five fours and one six off 33 balls. Sumit Maharjan contributed 14 runs from 10 balls, including two fours. Bhim Sarki and Gerhard Erasmus both added 10 runs each. Apart from them, no other Kathmandu batter managed to reach double digits.
