Six Lives Lost in Bhatbhateni Blaze Amid Gen-Z Protests

A devastating fire at the Bhatbhateni Superstore in Bouddha, Kathmandu-7, has claimed six lives during the recent Gen-Z protests.

Superintendent of Police Apilraj Bohara, spokesperson for the Kathmandu Police, confirmed the discovery of the burnt bodies on Saturday. The victims have been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, for post-mortem.

Police said the tragic incident occurred as part of the violent demonstrations that saw arson attacks across the city.
