Silver Hits New Record, Gold Rises but Stays Below Peak

Silver prices hit a new record on Wednesday, rising above last week’s high.

 

The price of silver went up to Rs 3,750 per tola, an increase of Rs 150 in just one day. On Tuesday, silver was trading at Rs 3,600 per tola, and the previous record of Rs 3,655 per tola was set last Wednesday.

 

Gold prices also went up, rising by Rs 200 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold that cost Rs 251,900 per tola on Tuesday reached Rs 252,100 per tola on Wednesday.

 

However, gold has not yet beaten its previous record. The highest price ever recorded was Rs 258,000 per tola on October 17.
