The proportional representation vote count for the House of Representatives election is nearing completion, with the Rastriya Swatantra Party leading with over 5.1 million votes, followed by Nepali Congress and CPN-UML.

The vote counting for the proportional representation (PR) category of the House of Representatives election is nearing completion.
According to the latest results, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), which won 125 seats under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system, has received over 5.1 million votes in the proportional category. Only a few votes remain to be counted.
RSP has secured 5,135,621 votes. The Nepali Congress is in second place with 1,747,737 votes, followed by the CPN-UML with 1,404,031 votes, and the CPN in fourth place with 1,003,627 votes.
The Sanskriti Party, in fifth place, has received 307,057 votes, while the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), which has crossed the threshold, stands sixth with 329,457 votes.
So far, 10,730,551 votes have been counted under the proportional system.
The results for the direct (FPTP) elections were already announced on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Madhesh-based parties that had previously crossed the threshold to become national parties are trailing far behind this time. The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has received 174,306 votes, while the Janamat Party has secured 7,949 votes. The Rastriya Parivartan Party, which is ahead of Janamat, has received 171,497 votes.
