Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) spokesperson Manish Jha has dismissed speculation that Vice Chair Dr Swarnim Wagle and leader Dr Tosima Karki are preparing to quit the party. Responding to journalists, Jha called the rumors “baseless” and noted similar claims had circulated eight months ago about other office-bearers and lawmakers.
“There is a press conference in three hours, and suddenly rumors spread that someone is leaving the party. This has happened before,” Jha said, urging the public not to believe misinformation.
The latest rumor reportedly originated from a small Nepali Congress–affiliated Facebook group and was not picked up by any credible media outlet. Party officials emphasized that the claims are unreliable and reaffirmed that all RSP leaders remain committed to the party’s mission and agenda.
