Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel expressed confidence that all political parties will take part in the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5. Speaking at a programme in Kalinag Secondary School, Kalinchowk Rural Municipality-8, Kharel said the government has created a favourable environment for the polls and urged his message to reach across the country.
“The major responsibility of this government is to hold elections. The government is ready, and all political parties are participating,” he said.
Kharel, who also serves as the government spokesperson, added that maintaining good governance remains a priority, with efforts focused on curbing corruption. During his visit, he was felicitated by locals at his birthplace, Sunkhani, and offered pooja at Kalinag Temple. The minister also visited the Office of Kalinchowk Rural Municipality, promising to perform his duties responsibly while receiving public appreciation.
