The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called a Central Committee meeting to strengthen its organisation and plan its political strategy.
According to General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, the meeting will take place today (Sunday) at 1:00 pm at the party’s central office in Banasthali, Kathmandu. The meeting will discuss party unity, expansion of the organisation, preparations for the March 5 elections, and ways to make the party’s internal structure stronger.
Party leaders will also talk about recent political developments and review how prepared the party is, as the RSP works to establish itself as a strong alternative force in national politics.
Meanwhile, RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane held a meeting on Sunday evening at the party’s central office with Kulman Ghising and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen).
Party sources said the discussion focused on important political issues, including party unity and possible changes to the proportional representation (PR) closed list. Lamichhane and Ghising had also met separately on Friday.
