The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has officially endorsed a broad unity agreement with Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah, marking a significant political development.
The decision was taken during a special meeting of the party’s central committee held on Sunday night under the chairmanship of RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane, according to General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti.
Burlakoti said the central committee unanimously approved the agreement, calling it a step driven by bold commitment, sacrifice and hope in the national interest.
The party believes that the effective implementation of the agreement will help tackle corruption, misgovernance and disorder, while reinforcing good governance, democracy, prosperity and social justice across the country.
