Gold Price Drops by Rs 600 per Tola, Silver Hits New Record High

Gold prices fell in the local market on Tuesday, while silver hit a new record high.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold dropped by Rs 600 per tola from the previous day. Gold is trading at Rs 270,000 per tola today. On Monday, gold was priced at Rs 270,600 per tola, the highest level ever recorded in the domestic market.

Meanwhile, silver prices continued to rise. The price of silver increased by Rs 60 per tola to reach a new all-time high of Rs 4,895 per tola today.
