Gold and Silver Prices Hit Record Highs in Local Market

Gold and silver prices have been rising steadily in the local market over the past few days, and both increased again today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold has reached Rs. 270,600 per tola, while silver is being sold at Rs. 4,835 per tola. These are the highest prices ever recorded for both metals.

Experts say the price rise is mainly due to the strengthening of the US dollar. In the international market, gold is trading at $4,530 per ounce, while silver is priced at $78 per ounce, according to global reports.
