Prime Minister Sushila Karki visited the Kathmandu District Administration Office to review the newly implemented Public Announcement System, aimed at making public service delivery faster, more transparent, and hassle-free.

Chief District Officer Ishwar Raj Paudel explained that the system allows citizens to take tokens and receive services within a scheduled time, while CCTV monitoring ensures accountability. The system has eliminated intermediaries and reduced complaints, serving an average of 1,000 visitors daily.

The initiative, inspired by the governance demands raised during the JNG Movement, has been dedicated to the youth leaders of the movement. Prime Minister Karki praised the model and suggested expanding it to other offices with high citizen traffic. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal also attended the visit.
