Power Restored After Fire in Yogikuti, Rupandehi

Electricity has been restored after a fire broke out at a substation of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) in Yogikuti, Tilottama, Rupandehi.

According to the Lumbini Provincial Office of NEA, the fire started late at night due to a short circuit, causing a power outage that lasted for about an hour. Fortunately, the fire was quickly brought under control, preventing any major damage to the substation.

Chief of the Lumbini Provincial Office, Shambhu Kusiyait Yadav, informed that electricity supply resumed within an hour of the incident. He added that the prompt response by the technical team helped avoid serious damage and ensured that power was restored quickly in the affected area.
