Dev Kumar Dhakal Appointed Chairperson of Rastriya Banijya Bank

Dev Kumar Dhakal has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) Limited. He took on the role after the bank’s board members unanimously agreed on his appointment during a meeting held on Friday.

Dhakal brings over 30 years of experience from Nepal Rastra Bank, the country’s central bank. He has worked in many important positions there, most recently as a director. He has a strong understanding of Nepal’s financial system, banking practices, and regulations.

Rastriya Banijya Bank was established in the year 2022 BS and now provides services to about 4.7 million customers through its 309 branches spread across all 77 districts of Nepal.
