Over 34,000 Votes Cast in Bajura So Far
As of now, more than 34,000 votes have been cast in Bajura. Voting is taking place across 118 polling centers in 77 regular polling stations, along with one temporary polling center.
According to the Chief Election Officer’s office, voting has been conducted peacefully since 7 a.m. across all nine local levels in the district. By 1 p.m., over 34,000 votes had already been recorded.
District Chief Officer Dorendra Niraula stated that the election is proceeding in a secure and calm environment, with heightened security measures at high-risk polling centers.
District Election Officer Bhim Bahadur Shahi confirmed the same, noting that strict security arrangements have been implemented to prevent any incidents similar to those in past elections. So far, no untoward events have been reported in the district.
