Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), has made a bold claim about the political situation involving Rabi Lamichhane. Dahal said that leaders from both the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML had offered Lamichhane the position of Prime Minister.
Dahal emphasized that he had observed this move by the two major parties, suggesting that they had been trying to bring Lamichhane into their political fold.
Dahal said that with Lamichhane facing political moves, the NC and CPN-UML will soon face consequences for their actions during his custody. He warned that these parties would "pay heavily" for their campaign of intimidation against Lamichhane.

Dahal alsk expressed an intention to call for a special parliamentary session to protest against the government's overreach.
A mass demonstration in Kathmandu was announced to be organized by him with the support of the opposition against the government's actions.
