Prime Minister Sushila Karki has emphasized that judicial services must not be disrupted under any circumstances. Speaking during a joint meeting with representatives from the Supreme Court and the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), she stressed the importance of ensuring the court’s continuous operation.

The discussion was held after the Kathmandu District Court building sustained structural damage, prompting the need for an alternative space. During the meeting, Supreme Court Registrar Bimal Poudel requested that CAAN provide its building in Babarmahal for temporary use.

In response, Prime Minister Karki instructed the authority to make the building available, highlighting the need to maintain uninterrupted judicial services. Following the meeting, both institutions reached an understanding to provide the building on a conditional basis.
