PM Oli Pledges Solukhumbu's Development To Boost Tourism

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the government is committed for the development of Solukhumbu, emphasizing its contribution in tourism.

While addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Dimdorji Sherpa Tourism Road in Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-2, Surke, he assured that the government would strengthen infrastructure development in the region.

He also mentioned that the federal and provincial governments would collaborate on upgrading the tourism road. Prime Minister Oli assured the government’s commitment to improving roads in the Khumbu region. He even emphasized the importance of better infrastructure to promote the area's adventure tourism and cultural value.

Oli expressed confidence that the road improvements and infrastructure expansion would elevate tourism in the area to new heights. The construction of the road is expected to improve transportation for local residents, contribute to the overall economic and social development of the district, and make a historic contribution to the tourism sector.
