Prime Minister Karki appreciated the efforts to create a peaceful election environment and instructed officials to ensure effective security, identify elements trying to disrupt elections, and monitor activities such as intimidation or extortion.
She emphasized, “Boycotts have become an easy tool for a few people to scare the public and collect money. Such activities must be immediately curbed. Political work requires engaging with the public and seeking votes.” She added, “Now is the time to act with restraint, face challenges, and ensure elections provide a way forward for the country. Everyone who loves Nepal must help maintain peace and order.”
