Paudel Urges Use of Natural Resources for Economic Growth

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel mentioned that Nepal should work towards economic growth by making the best use of its natural resources.

Speaking at a photo exhibition organized by RSS on the occasion of the 18th Republic Day, themed “Mountain Tourism: Our Pride, Our Identity,” he emphasized that the country has great potential because of its rich natural beauty.

“Nepal is blessed with mountains, forests, plants, and animals. We are also rich in culture. We need to use these natural and cultural gifts to help the country grow and prosper,” he said.

When asked about the upcoming budget, Minister Paudel said it would be put into action properly because it is realistic and matches the country’s current economic situation.

“The budget for the next fiscal year is practical and matches the country’s needs. The main challenge is to improve how we spend on development projects,” he added.
