Concrete work has begun on the spectator stands of Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium as part of its upgrade to international standards.

The construction of the parapet at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground has begun. According to Chakrabarti Kantha, joint secretary at the Ministry of Urban Development, the work is in progress with the goal of completing it within the month of Jestha.
As part of the plan to develop the stadium to international standards, parapets are being built on the western and eastern sides in the first phase with the objective of accommodating 10,000 spectators.
The parapet construction is divided into 12 sections, and the first section is now under construction, said Joint Secretary Kantha.
In addition to the parapets, eight floodlights will be installed to allow matches at night.
During an inspection visit, Urban Development Secretary Gopal Prasad Sigdel instructed the team to maintain quality and finish the work on time.
