Over 30,000 New Voters Added in a Single Day, Says Election Commission

The Election Commission has reported a surge in voter registration, with more than 30,000 new voters added on Wednesday alone, bringing the total number of newly registered voters to 239,940 as of 8 p.m. that evening.

With the deadline for voter registration set for November 16 (Kartik 30), officials say the number of people registering their names has been rising steadily in recent days.

According to the Commission, the registration process has gained momentum as data from the National Identity Card system is now being used to verify and register voters, making the process faster and more efficient.
