Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Co-Coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal said that the unity among communist forces has made the CPN-UML uneasy. Speaking at a program where the Matribhoomi Jagaran Abhiyan joined the NCP on Wednesday, he said the unity campaign has created a new wave in Nepali politics.

Targeting UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, Nepal said some leaders in the communist movement have lost their calm because of the unity efforts. He added that instead of using harsh words, they should welcome this campaign, which is meant to strengthen the left movement.

“If they thank us for this unity campaign, it will help heal old political wounds,” Nepal said, urging all members to take pride in the ongoing unity process.
