Police have recently taken one more individual on the suspicion of inciting incidents of violence, looting and arson during the March 28 protest of pro-royalist forces as part of a campaign for the protection of nation, nationality, religion, culture and citizens.

The arrestee is Anil Basnet (47), chair of Shiv Sena, Nepal and a resident of Biratnagar metropolis-3, Morang district. It should be noted that police have taken scores of individuals, including Rabindra Mishra, senior vice-president of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, for a probe on the charge of their their alleged involvement in the incidents.
