The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a media briefing yesterday (May 13), providing what it called a comprehensive update and an engaging interactive session on the preparations for the first edition of Sagarmatha Sambaad.


Minister for Foreign Affairs, Arzu Rana Deuba, outlined the overarching vision and objectives of the Sambaad, highlighting key elements of the preparations — including participation, program design, expected outcomes and a range of complementary events — all now in their final stages while 
Foreign Secretary Amrit Rai provided a detailed update on overall preparations, underscoring Nepal’s readiness to host this meaningful global dialogue platform in Kathmandu.


Member-secretary Maheshwar Dhakal and Media and Publicity Coordinator Lok Bahadur Chhetri shared details on the substantive and communication dimensions of the dialogue, covering both technical content and media outreach.
