NRB Sets New Buying and Selling Rates for Foreign Currencies

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced today’s official foreign exchange rates. According to the central bank, one US dollar is being bought at Rs 142.54 and sold at Rs 143.14.

The European euro has a buying rate of Rs 166.91 and a selling rate of Rs 167.61. The UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 190.70 and sold at Rs 191.51. Likewise, the Swiss franc is priced at Rs 179.22 for buying and Rs 179.97 for selling.

For other major currencies, the Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 94.25 and sold at Rs 94.64, while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs 103.28 for buying and Rs 103.71 for selling. The Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 110.24 for buying and Rs 110.70 for selling.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.03 and the selling rate is Rs 9.07. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.24 and sold at Rs 20.33. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.38 and a selling rate of Rs 16.38, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 39.39 and sold at Rs 16.39.

According to NRB, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.54 and sold at Rs 4.55. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 38.81 and a selling rate of Rs 38.97. The Malaysian ringgit is priced at Rs 34.96 for buying and Rs 35.11 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.66 and the selling rate is Rs 9.70. The Swedish kronor is being bought at Rs 15.38 and sold at Rs 15.44, while the Danish kronor has a buying rate of Rs 22.34 and a selling rate of Rs 22.44.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.32 and the selling rate at Rs 18.40. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 463.94 and sold at Rs 465.89. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 378.11 and a selling rate of Rs 379.70. The Omani rial is priced at Rs 370.23 for buying and Rs 371.79 for selling. Finally, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
