The second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) kicks off today at the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, with defending champions Janakpur Bolts taking on Kathmandu Gorkhas at 4 PM.
CAN has scheduled all matches, day and night at the TU Ground, with 9,450 tickets available daily. Tickets for the opening game sold out three days ago. CAN Secretary Paras Khadka urged fans unable to reach the stadium to watch the broadcast from home.
The tournament runs from Nov 16 to Dec 13, featuring 32 matches and eight franchise teams. Opening-day tickets are priced at Rs 500 (general) and Rs 1,500 (premium), with prices varying for later stages.
On day two, Chitwan Rhinos vs Karnali Yaks and Biratnagar Kings vs Pokhara Avengers will headline the action.
