Normal Life Returns as New Government Takes Charge

Life across Nepal has gradually returned to normal following the recent Gen-Z protests. The curfews and prohibitory orders imposed in several parts of the country have now been lifted, allowing people to resume their daily routines and businesses. Streets and markets are once again lively, with visible relief and happiness on the faces of the public, especially the youth.

The law-and-order situation is stabilizing as the country moves forward under a new government led by former Chief Justice Sushila Karki. The government was formed in response to the demands of the new generation, who strongly pushed for anti-corruption measures and good governance.

Karki’s interim administration carries the responsibility of holding elections within the set timeframe and ensuring a peaceful transfer of power, keeping alive the aspirations of ordinary citizens.
