Families of Gen-Z Victims Seek Justice, Complaint Filed Against Former PM Oli

Families of youths killed during the Gen-Z protests have started demanding justice, with a police complaint filed against former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Congress MP and former lawmaker Abhishek Pratap Shah submitted the complaint through Kapilvastu CDO Dil Kumar Tamang at the Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor. The complaint accuses Oli of ordering security forces to open fire on peaceful protesters, leading to the deaths of over a dozen young people aged 17 to 45 and injuring many more.

It demands that Oli be charged with serious crimes and calls for an in-depth investigation, with postmortem reports and on-site inspection records submitted as evidence.

CDO Tamang confirmed that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned authorities for further action.
