New policies will be formulated to revolutionize the agriculture sector

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that new policies will be formulated in a different way to create attractive employment opportunities and revolutionize the agriculture sector in the country.

Speaking at an event organized by the Nepal Trade Union Federation (GEFONT) on the occasion of the 7th Social Security Day, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that the government is working in a new way to increase production and productivity for equitable distribution. He highlighted that, in his tenure, the country needs to undergo change, and he expressed his intention to bring about change without passing the burden onto future generations, but rather ensuring they feel the impact of it.

As the President of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), Prime Minister Oli stated that his party believes in action rather than just words. He acknowledged that, under the leadership of GEFONT, the country has seen a successful labor movement and has been inspired to introduce social security programs. Reflecting on the progress made in the seven years since the launch of the social security program, he expressed confidence that significant improvements will be seen in the program within the next year.
