New Corruption Case Filed Against Suspended Mayor Mohan Basnet

A new case has been filed against the suspended Mayor of Nagarjun Municipality, Mohan Basnet.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed the case at the Special Court on Sunday, accusing him of stealing 86.9 million rupees through corruption.

Earlier, the CIAA had also filed a case against him for allegedly taking a bribe of 92.2 million rupees.
