On Monday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a slight increase, though it wasn't particularly noticeable.

Today, NEPSE went up by 2.41 points, reaching 2,730 points with a trading volume of over NPR 11.5 billion.

During this increase, a total of 2,37,70,348 shares worth NPR 11,087,59,67,000 were traded. The share prices of 97 companies went up, while the share prices of 137 companies went down. However, the share prices of 8 companies remained unchanged. A total of 309 companies participated in the trading, and 1,11,918 transactions were made.

Out of the 13 sectors, 7 sectors increased, while 6 sectors decreased. The highest increase was seen in the life insurance sector, which increased by 0.82%, while the smallest increase was in the microfinance sector, which surged by only 0.10%. The largest decrease was in the finance sector, which fell by 1.07%, while the smallest decrease was in the hotel and tourism sector, which dropped by just 0.01%.
