NEPSE Drops By 14 Points.

On Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 14 points, ending at 2716 points after starting at 2733 points.

A total of 1,69,17,000 shares from 315 companies were traded, with a total value of NPR 8.91 billion.

Out of the companies traded, 71 saw their share prices rise, while 172 companies experienced a drop in prices. Nine companies’ share prices stayed the same.

The market showed a decline in all sectors of the NEPSE, except for Hydropower and Other sectors, which saw increases of 0.15% and 0.43%, respectively.

Investors in companies like Joshi Hydropower, Samudyaik Microfinance, and Middle Bhotekoshi Hydropower made the highest profits.

On the other hand, investors in companies like Corporate Development Bank, Green Development Bank, Sindhu Development Bank, and Sapta Koshi Development Bank faced major losses, with these companies being hit by a negative circuit breaker.
