Nepal's Historic Win Against Singapore in Friendly Match

Nepal secured a historic victory against Singapore in an international friendly football match after 36 years.

In the match played last evening, Nepal won 1-0 against the home team, Singapore. The only goal of the match was scored by Gillespye Jung Karki in the 12 minute, which turned out to be the match-winner.

This was Nepal’s first game under the leadership of new head coach Matt Ross. It was also the first time Nepal defeated Singapore and scored a goal against them in international football. Before this, Nepal had lost three matches and one match ended making draw.

Nepal will now compete in the third round of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers.
