Stressing the importance of inclusive voting rights, the Nepal Gen Z Front today urged the Election Commission (EC) to allow Nepali citizens to vote from abroad and outside their home districts.

The memorandum states that no eligible Nepali voter should be barred from participating due to legal or technical hurdles. It calls for immediate arrangements to enable overseas and out-of-district voting in time for the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.

Front leaders, including Amrita Ban, Binita Bogati, Rhishi Thapa, Nabin Bista, Adarsha Karna, and Diamond Shahi, submitted the memorandum to the EC, Bogati said.
