The Nepali Congress has opened its winning account in the House of Representatives election from Mustang.
Congress candidate Yogesh Gauchan Thakali has been elected as a Member of the House of Representatives from Mustang for the second consecutive time. He secured 3,307 votes, while his closest rival Indradhara Bista of CPN-UML received 1,806 votes. Meanwhile, Adhitiya Chandra Thakali of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) obtained 759 votes.
Similarly, the Nepali Congress is currently leading in several other constituencies, including Lalitpur-1, Kapilvastu-3, Dailekh-1, Pyuthan-1, Surkhet-1, Rasuwa-1, Lamjung-1, Jajarkot-1, Sindhupalchok-2, Palpa-2, and Panchthar-1.
