Nepal women's national cricket team lost its second consecutive defeat as it faced the defeat in hands of Thailand by 4 wickets. In previous matches, the Nepalese team lost 20 runs in front of Netherlands.
Batting first at the TU Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal made 101-9 off 20 overs. Thailand chased down the target with six wickets in hand, reaching the target with one over to spare. For Thailand, Nannapat Koncharoenkae steered his side towards victory with an unbeaten 60 runs off 58 balls, studded with 6 fours.
For Nepal, 2 wickets fell to Manisha Upadhyaya while Kavita Joshi, Rubina Chhetri and Kavita Kunwar bagged 1 each. Leading scorers of Nepal were Kavita Kunwar and Bindu Rawal with 25 runs each. Mamta Chaudhary scored 15 runs.
With this win, Thailand topped the table with 2 wins while Nepal was yet to register a win.
