Nepal Women's Football Team loses friendly match against Thailand

Nepal’s women’s national football team played their first international friendly match against Thailand but lost the game by one goal. The match took place yesterday evening in Thailand and was played behind closed doors, meaning no fans were allowed in the stadium. Thailand managed to score the only goal of the match in the second half, giving them a narrow win over Nepal. 

Despite the loss, the match was part of Nepal’s preparation for the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers. Nepal will play their second friendly match against Thailand on Monday. The qualifiers are set to begin on May 4. Nepal is placed in Group ‘F’ along with Laos, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan. 

The team is hoping to improve their performance before the qualifiers begin. These matches are important as they help the team build chemistry, test their strategy, and identify areas that need improvement. Nepal’s players are training hard to represent the country well on the international stage.
