Nepal U-19 Team Back Home after SAFF Championship

The Nepal U-19 football team have returned home after taking part in the SAFF U-19 Championship held in India. 

The team arrived in Kathmandu and was welcomed at Tribhuvan International Airport by ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah. Nepal performed well in the group stage and became the runner-up of Group B, which helped them reach the semifinals. In the semifinal match, 

Nepal played against Bangladesh but lost 2-1. As a result, Nepal could not reach the final. India and Bangladesh played in the final match. India won the championship title by beating Bangladesh 4-3 in a penalty shootout.
