The Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2 is set to begin on November 17, but all tickets for the opening match between Janakpur Bolts and Kathmandu Gorkhas have already sold out.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed the sell-out and urged fans who missed out to watch the game from home. In a video message, CAN Secretary Parash Khadka explained that the first day is always crowded, and fans’ support from home is equally important.

A total of 8,000 tickets were released via Khalti, including 2,000 reserved for players’ families, organizers, and sponsors. Regular tickets for league matches cost Rs 500, play-offs and finals Rs 1,000, while premium tickets are priced Rs 1,500 for the inaugural day, Rs 1,000 for other matches, and Rs 2,000 for play-offs and finals.

Fans are encouraged to tune in and cheer for their teams as the season officially kicks off at 4 pm.
