Nepal Police has opened applications for 133,980 election police personnel for the March 5 polls. Applications will be accepted from January 9 to 15 at district police offices nationwide.

With the March 5 House of Representatives election approaching, Nepal Police has announced a massive recruitment of Election Police personnel.
A total of 133,980 posts are open, with applications being accepted at all 77 District Police Offices from January 9 to 15. Applicants must be Nepali citizens aged between 18 and 54, able to read and write, physically and mentally fit, free from criminal convictions, and unaffiliated with any political party.
Preference will be given to former security personnel and individuals who previously served as temporary police during elections. Selected candidates will be deployed for 40 days and will receive Rs 34,776 in total pay, along with a food allowance, as per the entry-level scale of Nepal Police constables.
