Gold Price Rises by Rs 2,100 per Tola, Silver Falls

The price of gold went up by Rs 2,100 per tola in the local market on Friday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is now being sold at Rs 267,800 per tola. On the previous day, it was priced at Rs 265,700 per tola.

Earlier, on December 28, 2025, gold had reached its highest price ever at Rs 270,600 per tola.

At the same time, the price of silver went down. Silver fell by Rs 55 per tola and is now priced at Rs 4,780 per tola. A day earlier, it was sold at Rs 4,835 per tola.

Silver had earlier hit its record-high price of Rs 4,935 per tola on January 7.
