In a message shared on social media, he quoted a Sanskrit verse that expresses a wish for everyone to be happy, healthy, and free from suffering.
He explained that the message means everyone should have good health, happiness, and well-being in life.
He also said that this New Year should bring positive change, peace, and good fortune for all.
Other leaders and public figures have also shared similar greetings to Nepalis living in the country and abroad on this special occasion.
