President Ram Chandra Paudel has extended his best wishes on the occasion of New Year 2083, stressing the need for collective commitment to national unity, good governance, and prosperity.
In his message on Tuesday, he said the New Year should be seen not only as a celebration but also as an opportunity to review the past and set direction for the future.
The President noted that the recently concluded elections have clearly reflected the people’s expectations for federal democratic republicanism, rule of law, social justice, and prosperity. He emphasized that all political forces and citizens must unite to fulfill these aspirations.
To guide the country in the right direction, he proposed five key commitments: adherence to democratic values and republicanism, good governance and transparency, inclusiveness and social justice, protection of national sovereignty, and a citizen-centered governance system.
He added that achieving these goals requires strong determination, discipline, and cooperation, and called on everyone to play a responsible role from their respective positions.
