In a tense encounter at the ICC T20 World Cup Asia-East Asia Pacific Qualifiers in Oman, Nepal defeated Qatar by just 5 runs to keep their World Cup hopes alive.
Nepal, batting first, set a target of 148 runs. Qatar came close but were bowled out for 142 in 19 overs. Lamichhane took 5 wickets for just 18 runs in 3.5 overs, earning him both the spotlight and his 250th international wicket.
