Nepal has won its second match against Sri Lanka in the ongoing SAFF U-20 Women's Championship in Bangladesh.

In the match held today at the Bashundhara Sports Complex in Dhaka, Nepal beat Sri Lanka 7-0. Nepal scored 4 goals in the first half and added 3 more in the second half. Samikshya Magar scored 2 goals, while Purnima Rai, Kusum Khatiwada, Sarita Nath, and Birsana Chaudhary scored one goal each. Nepal also got one goal as an own goal from the opponent.

Earlier in the tournament, Nepal had also defeated Sri Lanka 7-0. In other matches, Nepal beat Bhutan 6-1 and lost to Bangladesh 3-2.

With this victory, Nepal has climbed to the top of the points table with 9 points from 4 matches, ahead of Bangladesh on goal difference. Bangladesh is in second place with 9 points from 3 wins.

Later today, Bhutan and Bangladesh will play at 6:45 PM. In this tournament, all four teams play each other twice, and the team with the most points will be declared the winner.
