A delegation from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of India, Bhutan, and the Maldives met President Ram Chandra Paudel today. They are in Nepal for the Youth Exchange Program 2025, held in Kathmandu for Mahashivaratri and the 262nd anniversary of the Nepali Army.
At Sheetal Niwas, President Paudel, also the Supreme Commander of the Nepali Army, emphasized the importance of such programs in strengthening ties and promoting understanding between neighboring countries.
The Youth Exchange Program, organized by the Nepali Army, aims to encourage cultural exchange and skill-sharing among cadets, helping improve relations and understanding of each other’s cultures and realities.
The delegation of 34 members includes top officials like Nepal’s National Service Corps Director General Lieutenant General Yam Prasad Dhakal, India’s NCC Director General Gurbir Pal Singh, Bhutan Scout Association Director Sange Choden, and Maldives leader Rifan Ali.
