The Muglin-Naubise road will be closed for 3 hours each day, for five days, starting from today (Sunday). The closure will be from 11 am to 2 pm to allow road improvement work, including rock cutting at Pokharebhir and Bishaltar.
Bijay Darai, an engineer for the Nagdhunga-Muglin Road Project, stated that the District Safety Committee decided on this closure to carry out the necessary work.
During the closure, vehicles will be directed to stop at designated areas. Heavy vehicles heading to Gajuri from Naubise will stop at Galchhi-Baireni, while light vehicles will stop at Jarekhet for the work at Pokharebhir.
Similarly, heavy vehicles coming from Chitwan to Naubise will stop at Chalise, and light vehicles will stop at Ghatbesi.
For work at Bishaltar, heavy vehicles heading to Malekhu from Muglin will stop at Majhimtar, and light vehicles will stop at Charaudi Bazaar.
Vehicles traveling from Malekhu to Muglin will have heavy vehicles stop at Benighat Bazaar, and light vehicles at Bishaltar.
Ambulances and emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass through the closure areas as needed.
The District Traffic Police Office in Dhading has asked all drivers to follow lane discipline while stopping or driving during the closure hours.
