Prachanda Calls for National Unity Against Corruption

Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, highlighted the need for national unity in the fight against corruption.
Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu Prachanda said that controlling corruption requires a united effort from all political parties. He pointed out that corruption has become the serious problem in our society. 
“It is essential that we approach this investigation with honesty and dedication. The public expects us to act with integrity and investigate corruption thoroughly,” he said.  Prachanda stressed that for this to happen, consensus and unity among political parties are crucial.
He also highlighted the importance of the intention and integrity of the parties involved. “Have we truly taken a firm stand against corruption and committed ourselves to good governance? Have the people of Nepal felt this commitment from the political parties and the government?” Prachanda questioned.
